It’s taken me a while to write this review as I get so overwhelmed with emotion when I go back to everything this experience has done to me and how it changed my life.I couldn’t though let another moment pass without recognizing Roger R. Foisy & Associates.I am still touched by their personal care and generosity. They “PROTECTED” me while I continually felt victimized and violated by my own insurance provider.When you are thrust into such a vulnerable position there is so much that you need to know and do and you need people who can help you and Roger and everyone on his team can be trusted to be there with you every step of the way!They rally around you when others are trying to wear you down.You will feel heard by Roger’s team from day one.Be patient. It takes time and this is not an easy road to be on but this was where I found my support system & encouragement and connections to other important information to help me.They get to know you as a person & find out what your health & other needs are.I was always treated as someone they knew and truly cared about but so importantly my feelings were respected.Their honesty is invaluable.They’re available to speak with you on the phone or in person. Mr. Roger R Foisy and his associate lawyer Mr. Harpreet Sidhu exceptionally exceeded my expectations in every way. Both are knowledgeable, diligent and compassionate lawyers. I was especially impressed with their commitment, approach into my injury despite my complicating circumstances. Their knowledge and practical understanding of the injury law and insurance industry was outstanding. They took the time to listen patiently and explained to me all the aspects of my claim. From the first day I walked into their office, I knew I was with the right firm. The Foisy team quickly eased my mind even though I was facing not being able to work and my normal everyday life was starting to unravel.They understood everything I was going through, exactly how I was feeling with my Brain Injury, Post Concussion Syndrome, PTSD and other injuries. Roger and his team have a great knowledge and understanding of Brain injuries and what happens physically, mentally, medically and how it can affect your day-to-day life.After meeting the very diligent team assembled at Foisy and the part each member would play in helping me and representing my file; I was certain I was in good hands. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. This organized team of legal and accident professionals handled the Insurance company with professionalism, unburdened me from that stress, while always reassuring me that things would get better. The Team at Foisy always took my phone calls and questions in a timely and respectful manner.This team always had my well being and my best interests in mind through the whole accident benefits and legal process. They helped me get the support and help I needed; within months of signing on, I was set up with an Occupational Therapist, PSW and later a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Before long I had a whole support system around me to aid my recovery. Almost a decade ago, I sustained a terrible brain injury which changed my life after falling directly on my head due to the negligence of someone else. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the first lawyer I retained on this case was providing me with adequate representation despite him advertising himself as a competent lawyer in personal injury law.After struggling with brain injury symptoms for about five years, my fortunes changed after I came into contact with Roger Foisy, another personal injury lawyer, through our mutual affiliation with the Brain Injury Association of Peel/Halton (BIAPH), where we were both serving on the board. Mr. Foisy is now President of the Board.In 2020, I decided to reach out to Mr. Foisy for assistance because the previous lawyer I had been working with had put the case at risk by his inaction. The case was already six years old, with little prospect of resolution, despite the brain injury significantly impacting my health, work, family and social interaction. Thankfully, he agreed to take on the case.Immediately, I discovered that Mr. Foisy’s team and their project management approach took the necessary time and care to understand and build my case. I was particularly impressed with the training and knowledge the entire team had in the area of brain injury. I felt that Roger, along with two other lawyers that worked on my case, Harpreet and Daniel, treated me with empathy and understood my struggles. Harpreet Sidhu seems to know the field of PI law well. He listens attentively, provides sound advice, and is caring about your concerns. Highly recommended. He is also well aware of the many unethical lawyers in this field. If you are with one, close the file and move your file to Harpreet. Roger and his team have been so very helpful as well as supportive during my time with them.
